Imaginations turn, twist and fly through 120 exciting hands-on exhibits at Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana. Experience science Southern California style in the Center’s themed areas including Quake Zone, Techno Arts, Discovery Stadium, Perception, Dynamic Earth, Air & Space and Kids Station. Challenge your family to Virtual Volleyball, make music on a Laser Beam Harp, experience tremors in our Shake Shack, dance across a Musical Floor, lie on a Bed of Nails and more! Of the more than 250,000 visitors each year enjoy the Center’s exhibits, many students on fieldtrips. The Center’s education programs aren’t just for kids, however. Nearly 700 teachers take part in free and paid teacher workshops each year that provide them with skills, materials and entire lesson plans to teach science and technology in their classrooms.
